Aliyah Boston, Caitlin Clark among 14 named to USA Basketball's national team camp roster
The U.S. women's basketball national team will hold training camp in Cleveland the same weekend as the Final Four.

The current and future star of the Indiana Fever will soon be on the court together, as soon as next weekend. Aliyah Boston, the WNBA’s 2023 Rookie of the Year, and University of Iowa star Caitlin Clark were among the 14 players named to USA Basketball’s camp roster.
Next weekend, Cleveland will be the city to be in for women’s basketball and Team USA will be involved. They are set to hold a mini-camp April 3-5 at the Cleveland Clinic Courts. This is the same weekend the women’s Final Four is in town.
Former IU women’s coach Curt Miller, now of the LA Sparks, and Tanisha Wright (Atlanta Dream) will serve as coaches for the camp.
The team announced the superstar roster on Thursday, a group that is after the United States’ eighth straight Olympic gold medal in women’s basketball.
The 12 other players: Diana Taurasi, Ariel Atkins, Chelsea Gray, Brittney Griner, Jewell Loyd, Kelsey Plum, Breanna Stewart, A’ja Wilson, Jackie Young, Shakira Austin, Sabrina Ionescu, Rhyne Howard.
Coaching staff: Cheryl Reeve, Kara Lawson, Joni Taylor, Mike Thibault.
The coaching staff is a mix of WNBA and college coaches, but the roster is made up of 13 professional players … and Clark, whose participation depends on whether her Hawkeyes reach the Final Four.
The Paris Olympic Games will be held from July 26 through August 11. And earlier this year, Pacers All-Star guard Tyrese Haliburton was named to the 41-member player pool for the men’s team.
The WNBA Draft will be held on April 15th and the Fever have the No. 1 selection.
