Caitlin Clark participates in back-to-back Fever walk-throughs
Caitlin Clark is progressing toward return after six-week absense. Here’s what coach Stephanie White says she needs to see next.
It’s been a while — exactly six weeks — since the WNBA’s crown jewel was last on the basketball court. But the Indiana Fever are beginning to see progress.
All-Star Caitlin Clark is ramping up her activity level with the intent of returning before the conclusion of the 2025 WNBA season.
Clark has been out since injuring her right groin on July 15. Then, on August 7, she tweaked her left ankle during a workout session — as first reported here.
Now, a month and a half later, she’s eager to move forward and rejoin her teammates before the end of the season.
Clark went through the team’s walk-through on Sunday and again on Monday. That included live action, shooting, and scout work — but no contact drills. Head coach Stephanie White wants to see Clark complete a handful of practice days before returning to game action.
“I want to see her in practice, live in practice,” White said on Tuesday, an hour before the Fever picked apart the Seattle Storm in a 95-75 win.
