‘Super cool’: Caitlin Clark enjoys first Indy 500 during rare Fever break
Clark served as Indy 500 Grand Marshal, soaked in the race-day atmosphere with teammates and coaches, and joined several Pacers players in witnessing one of the most memorable finishes in race history
The Indiana Fever are enjoying a rare break in their schedule.
After playing five games in 10 days, they now have a five-day break between games. That included a rare weekend off, which allowed for Caitlin Clark to experience the Indianapolis 500 for the first time. And in an official capacity.
It’s something sports fans in Indy have wanted to see since Clark was selected No. 1 overall by the Fever two years ago.
Finally, a break in the WNBA schedule made this crossover possible.
