Caitlin Clark (groin) ruled out for WNBA Commissioner’s Cup Final
The two-time All-Star is dealing with a groin injury and has missed the last two games. Clark is considered day-to-day ahead of Tuesday's matchup in Minnesota, but was ruled out after shootaround.
MINNEAPOLIS — Indiana Fever All-Star guard Caitlin Clark will not be in uniform Tuesday night for the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup championship game.
Clark, 23, has been limited in practice the past two days due to a left groin injury that she sustained last week.
She traveled with the team to Minnesota — the franchise she grew up rooting for in West Des Moines — but was officially listed as questionable.
Then, she was not on the Target Center court Tuesday morning as the rest of the team went through stretching and warmups in front of media to begin shootaround. The Minnesota Lynx have a league-best 14-2 record and are led by Napheesa Collier.
