NBC went big for its debut of “Basketball Night in America” on Sunday.

They brought out the heavy hitters, the ratings drivers for the launch of its new basketball program on the first Sunday without NFL this season.

Clark’s Indiana Fever teammate Aliyah Boston was watching and wrote on Instagram: “like what can’t you do?” Boston is a contributor to NBC for women’s college basketball.

It was the first of at least two appearances for Clark, who made her debut behind the desk. She will return on March 29 when the Oklahoma City Thunder host the New York Knicks.

Throughout the conversation, Clark talked about the mystique of Madison Square Garden, star players rising to the moment in big games, an NBA player she watches closely, and her optimism for the WNBA working toward a new Collective Bargaining Agreement. The WNBA and WNBPA had another meeting on Monday in New York City.
