Caitlin Clark not planning to attend 109th Indianapolis 500
Despite a three-day break in the Fever’s schedule and her sponsorship ties to Gainbridge, Caitlin Clark is not expected to be at the Indy 500 on Sunday.
SPEEDWAY, Ind. — The Indiana Fever host the reigning champion New York Liberty on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET. It’s a featured matchup that is sure to draw about three million viewers nationally on CBS.
The Fever then have three days between games, but all indications are that Fever guard Caitlin Clark — The Needle — will not attend the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday.
