‘We’ve got to go and steal one’: Caitlin Clark confident Pacers will finish the job
Clark has become a regular at Pacers games — and she’s well aware of their perfect record when she’s in attendance. After a Game 4 loss, she remains 'very confident' in their ability to win it all.
Caitlin Clark is aware of the Indiana Pacers’ record when she attends games at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
“It's hard to miss, yeah,” she said, referencing how it was all over social media last week between Games 3 and 4.
It’s something I’ve tracked since she was drafted to Indianapolis about 14 months ago. For the record, they’re 8-0 when the face of the WNBA is in the crowd. She’s either courtside or up in a suite.
Clark is a basketball junkie, so she’s a frequent visitor to games — attending most games when she’s in town. Just like how Tyrese Haliburton often sits courtside for Fever games, even during the NBA postseason.
That’s why so many Pacers fans were wondering if Clark would be back courtside for Game 4 last Friday. And she was — but just for a half.
“I didn't stay the whole time, I'm not going to lie to you,” she said before erupting for 32 points, including seven 3-pointers, on Saturday as the Fever handed the New York Liberty, the WNBA's last unbeaten team, their first loss of the season.
