Caitlin Clark returns to Indiana, gets to work with the Fever
After a week at home following Iowa's run to the national title game and then the WNBA Draft, Caitlin Clark is in Indy and gearing up for the start of training camp on April 28.
Caitlin Clark returned to Indianapolis this week.
The No. 1 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft went home on April 17 after being introduced by the franchise, doing several media interviews and visiting the team facilities for the first time.
By Tuesday, she made it back to town and got right to work.
Expect anything different?
“I can't wait to get her in the locker room with our players,” Christie Sides, who enters Year 2 as head coach, said on draft night. “There's been a few of them that have reached out, and they've talked. But I don't think you know anyone, really, until you're in that locker room with your teammates, the 12 of them, and they can get to know her, know that she's a fierce competitor, know that she wants to work so hard.
