Rick Carlisle's full comments on the Pacers-Kings trade agreement
"It’ll be a lot of fun putting it together and taking all these new pieces and melding into something really good going forward."
For the second time in 72 hours, the Pacers were involved in a trade that significantly impacts the roster.
Two days after dealing Caris LeVert to Cleveland for Ricky Rubio’s expiring contract and draft picks, they reached agreement with the Kings on a deal for Tyrese Haliburton, Buddy Hield and Tristan Thompson in exchange for two-time All-Star Domantas Sabonis, Justin Holiday, Jeremy Lamb and a future second-round pick.
Due to both trades and injuries, the Pacers are severely shorthanded Tuesday night when playing the Atlanta Hawks, coached by Nate McMillan.
