Fever resume training camp with lessons from first two exhibition games

The first week of training camp brought promise — and now, adjustments. Clark participated, two players were cut, and the team is focused on defensive energy, ball movement, and spacing.

The Fever wrapping up practice on Tuesday.

Before we all turn our attention to Game 2 of the Pacers’ series in Cleveland Tuesday night, there was basketball earlier in the day at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

The Indiana Fever returned to Salesforce Court after having Monday off — standard following a back-to-back.

On my drive back from Iowa City that day, I couldn’t help but think about how it wasn’t even a year ago that the WNBA announced full-season charter flights. Previously, part of the team’s “off” day would have been spent traveling.

Realistically, the game in Iowa couldn’t have happened when it did without charters, given the back-to-back scheduling.

Best of all from the weekend? The Fever appeared to come out of it healthy.
