Fever point guards Aari McDonald, Sydney Colson suffer season-ending injuries
The Fever have 13 games remaining and are down to nine available players for Saturday's home game against the Chicago Sky.

The Indiana Fever lost a lot more than a game Thursday evening in Phoenix.
Three players suffered injuries and two won’t suit up again this season.
After returning to Indianapolis overnight, landing around 6 a.m. Friday, Sydney Colson (torn left ACL) and Aari McDonald (broken bone, right foot) were evaluated and diagnosed with season-ending injuries.
Meanwhile, Sophie Cunningham tweaked her left ankle just before halftime, went back to the locker room and didn’t start the second half. However, she returned to action.
“I’m good,” she said postgame. “We faced some adversity with some injuries this game, but you know what, we’re used to that. We had that at the beginning of the year and this is just another hump that we’re gonna get over and we’re gonna be OK.”
And Cunningham, in her return to Phoenix, was the only Fever to have it on this night. She finished with a season-high 18 points, including five 3-pointers. The rest of the team combined to shoot 2 for 22 from distance in a 95-60 loss to the Mercury.
Already without All-WNBA talent Caitlin Clark for much of the season, including since July 15, the Fever’s season just took a nasty, unlucky turn.
