Fever’s two games in Atlanta moved to State Farm Arena
Atlanta is the latest team to relocate Indiana matchups to a larger venue, reflecting continued surging demand around the Fever, increasing capacity from 3,200 to more than 17,000.
Now that the WNBA Board of Governors and WNBPA have agreed to and unanimously ratified the terms of a new Collective Bargaining Agreement — a seven-year pact running through the 2032 season — teams are beginning to finalize plans for the upcoming season.
On Wednesday, the Atlanta Dream announced plans to move five home games to State Farm Arena, home of the Hawks. The venue has a significantly larger capacity (about 17,000) compared to the Gateway Center at College Park (3,200).
Both Indiana Fever games were among those relocated: June 20 and Aug. 16.
The Fever played five times in Atlanta last season, including one of their three preseason games and a three-game first-round playoff series. Only one of those five games was moved to the NBA arena — their first regular-season meeting on May 22 — which drew a sellout crowd of 17,044.
The WNBA released a tentative schedule in January, and there are now five opposing teams that have moved home games against Indiana to larger venues: Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Las Vegas and Toronto.
As it stands, all but five Fever games are scheduled to be played in NBA arenas.

June 8 at Washington: CareFirst Arena (Capital One Arena undergoing renovations)
June 13 at Connecticut: Mohegan Sun Arena
July 12 at Las Vegas: Michelob ULTRA Arena
Aug. 23 at Chicago: Wintrust Arena
Sept. 18 at Toronto: Coca-Cola Coliseum
