Fever down LA Sparks in largest win of the season
Indiana led by as many as 35 points, had 11 players score and now enters a weeklong break after its most lopsided victory of the season.
The Indiana Fever rolled past the LA Sparks 111-87 on Saturday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, leading by as many as 35 points in a game where they were never really challenged.
The 24-point win is their largest margin of victory this season, and the second by at least 20 points. They defeated Toronto by 22 on June 16.
Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Plum and Cameron Brink were all sidelined due to injuries, taking some of the star power out of the featured CBS primetime matchup. But for the Fever, this was exactly the kind of performance they needed heading into a weeklong break.
As good as it gets.
