UNCASVILLE, Conn. — Minutes into Game 1, Sun starting guard Ty Harris suffered a right ankle sprain. She needed assistance off the court and back to the locker room. She later returned to the bench to be with her teammates, but had the ankle heavily wrapped.

Harris — who graduated from Indianapolis Heritage Christian and then played four years at South Carolina (2016-2020) — was clearly done for the game and perhaps the series.

“Not yet,” White said of her status after practice on Tuesday. “Just really trying to see how much she progresses.”
