Indiana Fever add second home preseason game
The Fever added a third preseason date to their schedule before the 2026 regular season tips off on May 9.
The Indiana Fever will host a second exhibition game before the start of the 2026 WNBA season.
The Fever will welcome the Nigeria Women’s National Team to Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Saturday, May 2 at 7 p.m. ET. It comes two days after they host the Dallas Wings on April 30th.
Tickets will go on sale Monday, March 30 at 2 p.m. ET.
The Nigeria National Team is ranked 8th in the world and these games will help in their preparations for the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup, set to be played Sept. 4-13 in Berlin, Germany.
It’s their third scheduled game in the WNBA preseason, but only one in a true road environment. They will face the LA Sparks in San Diego on April 25, then the Minnesota Lynx in Kansas City on April 27.
Now with a new Collective Bargaining Agreement agreed to and ratified by the WNBA and the players union, teams are continuing preparations for the upcoming season, which begins on May 8.
That includes finalizing preseason dates.
