Bruce Brown is a big country music fan. He’s from Boston and attended the University of Miami, but he’s a country boy. A cowboy, you might say.

He went to several concerts this summer and while recording videos at media day for the team’s massive video board, players got to pick the music. He requested for the DJ to play country.

Once the 27-year-old officially signed with the Pacers and got to know his new teammates, initially in Las Vegas for workouts at summer league, Brown had an idea.

Tyrese Haliburton, the face of the Pacers, had never been to Nashville so Brown promised to take him before this season.

“Just make the whole team go,” Haliburton told him. “It was fun.”
