Indiana Fever to debut new court at home opener v Liberty
The Fever are getting a brand new court so before it arrives, they'll play their lone preseason home game on the court that's used for high school and college games.
The Indiana Fever basketball court at Gainbridge Fieldhouse will look different on Thursday for their only home preseason game of the 2024 season.
The team is getting a brand new court and they plan to unveil it at their home opener on Thursday, May 16th against the New York Liberty, league sources told Fieldhouse Files.
As I reported in December, the organization repurposed the court last season for the Pacers’ loud In-Season Tournament court — which had to be sent back to the manufacture to be properly refinished.
About 14,000 fans are expected to be at The Fieldhouse to see rookie guard Caitlin Clark play for the first time. Last week, the Fever played at the Dallas Wings and help sell out the building.
Their court has six company logos along the west sideline, opposite of team benches.
U.S. Bank, Nike, Google, Deloitte, CarMax and AT&T.
