Indiana Mad Ants clinch No. 3 seed, host Blue Coats in first round of G League playoffs
The 3-seeded Mad Ants won a franchise record 36 games and will host the Delaware Blue Coats, the No. 6 seed, Tuesday night.
The Indiana Mad Ants closed out their regular season over the weekend with an impressive pair of wins in Florida over the Osceola Magic, the top seed in the Eastern Conference.
Now, they quickly turn their attention to the playoffs.
And they will host a first-round game on Tuesday against the 6-seeded Delaware Blue Coats, affiliate team of the 76ers. It will be played at Gainbridge Fieldhouse at 7:30 p.m. ET and air nationally on ESPNews.
Tickets are general admission and available for $10 + Ticketmaster fees.
The winner advances to play at No. 2 Maine Celtics on Thursday at 7 p.m.
The Mad Ants, coached by Tom Hankins, finished the season 21-13 and, including the showcase part of their season (15-2), they went 36-15. That’s the most wins in franchise history.
