Watch interviews with key prospects the Pacers brought in for the 2023 NBA Draft | VIDEO
The Pacers will host dozens of draft hopefuls leading up to the 2023 NBA Draft, set for Thursday, June 22 in Brooklyn.
The NBA Draft Lottery, Draft Combine and agent workouts are all complete so the full focus is now on pre-draft workouts with teams.
The Pacers are one of several teams that, fortunately, invite local reporters to the practice facility to talk with players after their workout. Since we were without them in 2020 and 2021, it is not something to be taken for granted.
I made sure to be at all 16 workouts, most of which involved six players at each. And while there isn’t time to write about each player, I talked with every key player — the highest ranked and ones that are in play for their draft picks, a two-way contract or summer league — to get some questions answered, get a feel for who they are and what they are about.
And once again this draft season, I recorded videos of these interviews. They can all be seen below — or here’s a playlist with all of them. … And if you haven’t done so already, be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel for more Pacers videos.
There’s 46 interviews below and just one player visited twice: Dayton's Toumani Camara.
I’ve been updating this page since the Pacers hosted their first workout in May and with all 16 complete, I’m sending it as an email now because I can only do so once.
Running count: 62 players | 16 workouts | 5 solos
