Isaiah Jackson underwent surgery on torn right Achilles
Isaiah Jackson is the Pacers' second center to suffer a torn Achilles in just 10 days. He went to the same doctor as James Wiseman and Edmond Sumner before him. Plus, an update on Aaron Nesmith.
Indiana Pacers center Isaiah Jackson underwent surgery to repair a torn right Achilles tendon.
The surgery was performed by Dr. Martin O’Malley at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City on Monday, Nov. 4 — less than two weeks after James Wiseman had the same procedure to his left Achilles.
The injury occurred in the fourth quarter of their loss in New Orleans. Like Wiseman, it was a non-contact situation.
The team did not announce the surgery like they did for Wiseman, but head coach Rick Carlisle noted pregame in Dallas that it went well.
