Jordan Bell departs Mad Ants before end of G League season for opportunity overseas
The Indiana Mad Ants appreciated having Jordan Bell contribute in many ways for another season — both on the court and in teaching the young guys.
The Indiana Mad Ants will be without veteran Jordan Bell for the remainder of the G League season. Bell, 29, has agreed to a buyout with the Pacers’ G League affiliate in order to pursue an international opportunity.
Bell was not with the team on Sunday in their overtime loss at Greensboro 110-107. And he’ll miss the final seven games of the regular season, including their final two home games at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
In his final appearance of the season, Bell made 10 of 11 field goals and finished with a team-high 21 points, nine rebounds and seven assists in a dominant 141-102 win at Raptors 905 last week.
