Country artist Kane Brown wears Pacers jersey during Indy concert
The first stop on his tour was Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Thursday.
Country artist Kane Brown kicked off his “Blessed & Free Tour” Thursday night in Indianapolis. He sang while wearing a custom navy Pacers jersey — with his favorite number (3) and first name on the back.
Brown, 28, is from Georgia and his music was discovered from videos he shared on Facebook.
Boomer, the Pacers mascot, came out late in the show as Brown sang one of his hit songs, “Famous Friends.” It was the first concert of 2022 held at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
After the show, this video shows one lucky fan being tossed the custom jersey that Brown had been wearing. He even autographed it for him first.
He often wears basketball jerseys and this wasn’t his first time in a Pacers jersey. He was given a custom Hickory jersey, met some of the players and sat courtside for a game back in 2016.
Pacers equipment manager Josh Conder, known as Country, is a big country music fan. So is Mad Ants general manager Chris Taylor, Chris Denari and myself.
Here’s Brown with Indianapolis native George Hill, who is also a fan of his music.
Kane shared a video playing with his then-infant baby girl while wearing Pacers game shorts.
