Source: Jordan Bell suffers season-ending injury
Just two games into his return to the Indiana Mad Ants, Jordan Bell went down with an injury and is now lost for the season.
Indiana Mad Ants forward Jordan Bell suffered a season-ending injury to his left knee, a league source told Fieldhouse Files.
The veteran went down with an injury on Friday in the team’s home-opener. The injury occurred with 5:40 left in the first quarter as he slid over in the paint to provide help defense and then blocked the shot of Iowa Wolves forward Leonard Miller.
Bell went down in pain, immediately clutched his left knee, then smacked the floor seven times with his right hand in frustration.
Soon after, athletic trainers Maria Witte and Alexis Gholston joined him on the court, along with team physician Dr. Troy Roberson.
