Mad Ants move Kyle Mangas, receive Boogie Ellis in three-team trade
Kyle Mangas is an Indiana kid, a pure shooter, and now he gets a fresh start with the Austin Spurs.
The Indiana Mad Ants agreed to a three-team trade on Thursday that sent guard Kyle Mangas to the Austin Spurs in exchange for rookie guard Boogie Ellis from the Stockton Kings.
As part of the deal, Matt Lewis was moved from Austin to Stockton.
Mangas, 25, was originally acquired by the franchise on Oct. 27, 2023 after he spent a few years playing overseas.
He’s from Warsaw, set records playing college ball at Indiana Wesleyan, and was eager to be closer to home. The Pacers invited him to two pre-draft workouts before the 2021 NBA Draft.
