Megan McConnell — T.J.'s sister — re-signs with Phoenix Mercury

Megan McConnell is heading back to Phoenix.
The 5-foot-7 guard out of Duquesne University signed a rest-of-season contract with the Mercury on Tuesday, June 3rd. It came one day after the team waived Sevgi Uzun.
This is her second stop in Phoenix.
After going undrafted, the Pittsburgh native — and sister of Pacers guard T.J. McConnell — signed a training camp deal with the team. She was later waived on May 15th.
She was a stand-out performance at the college All-Star game in April down at Final Four weekend in Tampa.
Megan was in Indianapolis over the weekend to see T.J. for the Pacers’ close-out win over the New York Knicks in Game 6 to advance to the NBA Finals.
McConnell spent five years playing at Duquesne in her hometown. She was the 2025 Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year.
She’s also a two-time Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team member, recorded the most triple-doubles in school history, and climbed to second on the school’s all-time scoring list (1,795).
The Fever host the Mercury on July 30, the first of three meetings this season.
