Source: X-rays negative on Victor Oladipo's right knee, MRI to come
Oladipo clutched his right knee area after a two-handed dunk, then asked out of the game.
X-rays of Victor Oladipo’s right knee Thursday night were negative, a league source told Fieldhouse Files. He will undergo an MRI Friday afternoon after his surgically-repaired right knee area clearly didn't feel right as he completed a dunk.
With 5:55 left in the game, Bam Adebayo hit him with a pass as Oladipo made a V cut toward the basket. He took one power dribble, then went up for the two-handed flush.
But then he hung on the rim a second and purposefully landed on his left (good) leg. He immediately clutched his right knee/tendon area, then jogged his way to the other end of the floor and requested out.
The Heat guard then immediately went back to the locker room.

The Pacers traded Oladipo to the Rockets and received Caris LeVert in exchange, part of a four-team trade in mid-January. He wasn’t surprised by the move and looked forward to a fresh start. Because he’s in a contract year and the Rockets are rebuilding, they then moved him to the Heat at the trade deadline.
Oladipo had 18 points, four rebounds and three steals before leaving the game, a 110-104 Heat win over the Lakers.
And earlier, he threw down this vicious jam.
