After a year from hell, the Pacers want to get back to being a contender in the East.

The Indiana Pacers have 13 players under contract as NBA free agency officially gets underway at 6 p.m. ET on Tuesday. That’s when teams are allowed to communicate with free agents.

In the meantime, teams have been able to negotiate with their own free agents. That’s why you’ve seen reporting on players re-signing with their current team.

For the Pacers, their core is intact and they have 11 players with fully guaranteed contracts for next season. And they made two moves on Monday ahead of free agency.
