Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard to miss time with shoulder strain
Starting at point guard Andrew Nembhard tweaked his left shoulder three minutes into the season opener as he defended Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Plus, video of Daigneault's timeout request.

The hits keep coming for the Pacers, specifically at point guard.
The team’s top four options are all sidelined with injuries — just one game into the 2025-26 season. Already, they’re without Tyrese Haliburton (Achilles rehab), T.J. McConnell (left hamstring strain), and Quenton Jackson (right hamstring strain).
Starting point guard Andrew Nembhard joined the list after he sustained a left shoulder strain minutes into the first game of the season against Oklahoma City.
While defending Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the MVP and Finals MVP last season, Nembhard’s left arm got trapped under SGA’s right arm. He was called for his second foul, then immediately leaned forward and clutched his left arm.
