Michael Grady, Stephanie White to call Pacers-Bucks Game 1 on ESPN
Familiar faces will be on the national broadcast of Pacers-Bucks as the NBA Playoffs begin Saturday in Indianapolis.
Indiana fans will have familiar voices on the national broadcast for Game 1 of the Pacers’ first-round playoff series against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Pacers-Bucks will tip off the 2025 NBA Playoffs on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET, airing nationally on ESPN. Calling the game will be Michael Grady, Stephanie White, and Katie George.
It’s a nice homecoming for White, who returned to Indiana last November as head coach of the Fever. Training camp begins on April 27.
Grady and White have worked together several times this season, including a high-profile Christmas Day broadcast between the Denver Nuggets and Phoenix Suns.
“…to be able to do it with Stephanie is amazing,” Grady told me before that game. “I remember she would join me when I was a sports anchor for RTV6 [in Indianapolis]. She would join occasionally on Sunday nights to talk about the Indiana Fever. This is back during her first go-around as Fever head coach. We’ve maintained a relationship from those days when I was working, doing Fever stuff as PA announcer or other things in the city, while she was a terrific coach.”
Grady is in his third season as the TV voice of the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Warren Central High School alum previously served as the PA announcer for both the Pacers and Fever before joining YES Network as the Brooklyn Nets’ sideline reporter in 2017.
Before the 2024-25 season, Grady signed a one-year deal with ESPN — and he’s made the most of it. He covered Summer League, then made his regular-season debut for ESPN calling Pacers at Knicks in just the second game of the season. Later, he earned the call for one of the league’s Christmas Day showcase games.
Now, Grady and White, alongside George — who hails from nearby Louisville and played volleyball at the University of Louisville — will have the call as the 2025 NBA postseason tips off Saturday in Indianapolis.
The game will also air locally on FanDuel Sports Network Indiana with the usual Pacers TV crew.
