Pacers center Jalen Smith ruled out for remainder of in-season tournament
The Pacers' backup center has been out since Nov. 27, when he exited their game against the Trail Blazers in the third quarter due to injury.
LAS VEGAS — Jalen Smith joined the Pacers for their cross-country trip to Las Vegas for the In-Season Tournament final four, however he will not be returning to game action this week.
“He's doing better,” head coach Rick Carlisle said after practice. “He's started to do some light running. …
