Pacers continue to find a way

The Indiana Pacers have won five of their last six games, including three this week (and two in overtime). With odds and circumstances against them, they've been resilient and figured it out.

There’s the classic saying, what will they think of next?

The same could be said about these cardiac Indiana Pacers. It’s a team that has ridden waves — high and low, near and far — this season, coming off the franchise’s first conference finals appearance in a decade.

The circumstances and player availability continue to change, yet the one constant this week is how they’ve hung in there and figured it out. Especially now, in the final month of the regular season. With playoff seeding on the line, the result of each game is felt even more.

The latest example came Thursday night as they played their fifth game in seven days, including their second back-to-back. They had tired legs, were mentally exhausted, and visibly running on fumes.

But they continue to find a way.

For the second time in three games, they turned it over at least 20 times. Yet they forced overtime in both games, then won.
