How the Pacers turned 3s into assists for thousands of Indiana families
A 2025–26 in-game promotion tied to made 3-pointers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse will provide more than 100,000 eggs to families in need across Indiana through the Drive & Dish initiative.

In less than 12 hours, there was a court change at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, and dozens of volunteers laid out hundreds of cartons of eggs across the hardwood.
It was symbolic of a massive donation of more than 100,000 eggs that will be provided by the Pacers Foundation to the Drive & Dish initiative, launched by Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle nearly three years ago to address food insecurity in Indiana.
Announced earlier this season, Drive & Dish will receive three cases (540 eggs) for every made 3-pointer at Gainbridge Fieldhouse during the 2025–26 season. The Pacers Foundation teamed up with Kroger, MPS Egg Farms, and HATCH for Hunger to make it happen.

“What you’re seeing behind me is pretty powerful,” said Corey Wilson, SVP of Community Engagement at PS&E. “These 8,000 egg cartons represent something much bigger, each one helping provide multiple Hoosier families across our state.
“… This doesn’t happen without their commitment and generosity. And we’re especially thankful to Coach Carlisle, our head coach of the Indiana Pacers, for his support of the Drive & Dish program, whose performance on the court is helping drive this effort off the court for neighbors across the community. This is what it’s all about for us: using the game of basketball to make a difference for our neighbors across Indiana.”
The Pacers have turned “Boom Baby” into a meaningful way to give back to the local community, helping feed more than 8,000 families.
“It’s an honor for us at Kroger to be partners with the Indiana Pacers throughout the year,” said Eric Halvorson from Kroger. “But that connection deepened throughout the course of this egg donation program because we knew there was a need to be addressed, and the Drive & Dish program was a perfect way to put it together.”
Carlisle signed a carton of eggs for each of initiative’s partners.
The Pacers (18–61) have three games remaining in the regular season, which concludes Sunday against the Detroit Pistons.
