The Bally problems could not come at a worse time for the Pacers. They already lost considerable fan engagement after Sinclair shamefully cut all ties w/ the top streaming services (Hulu Live, YouTube TV, etc.) in mid 2020. Also didn’t help that year one on cable only availability, the team went into a free-fall from the tumultuous Nate Bjorkgren season, and then followed by further sinking of the ship w/ the first half of year one of Carlisle’s return. Although they’re now in the right direction , the attendance is still bottom three in the league and won’t substantially increase until they make the playoffs again. I think only until the team lands a second star alongside Haliburton is when the exposure will truly make a leap to what it was close to a decade ago.

Bally is a joke at $189.99 for the year. I pay much less for League Pass. Fortunately I’m able to attend quite a few Pacers games because I also have YouTube TV. Dear God please let the league take over this absolute broadcasting disaster.

I subscribe to DIRECTV Stream so I can watch there. I’d rather not have to but it is what it is if I wanna watch the games. Streaming services are ruining sports.
