Pacers’ frustrating start continues: injuries, ejection, and a 1-7 record
Indiana has been forced to constantly adjust on the fly, relying on hardship signings and lineup shuffles as injuries continue to shape the start of their season.
If the Indiana Pacers didn’t have bad luck, they wouldn’t have any luck at all this season. It has not been a glamorous or fun start to the regular season — in fact, it’s been memorable for all the wrong reasons.
Injuries. Hardship signings. Inefficient offense. Coach ejected.
At 1-7, the Pacers are in a three-way tie with the Nets and Wizards for the worst record in the league. This comes after a 112–103 loss to the rebuilding Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
The Pacers knew they would be without Tyrese Haliburton all season, but nobody could have imagined … this.
