Two weeks before the start of NBA training camp, the Pacers players have arrived in Nashville for a players-only mini-camp.
It’s a tradition they started recently and have continued over the last few years.
Tyrese Haliburton and former Pacers guard Bruce Brown got it started back in 2023. Haliburton had never been to Nashville and now they have several players with ties to the area.
Which helps in many ways, including gym access.
Aaron Nesmith played at Vanderbilt (2018-20) and Ben Sheppard at Belmont (2019-23). Nashville is a fun city — and this is the turning point for their offseason.
It’s go time.
