Pacers sign Mac McClung, waive James Wiseman amid early-season injury woes
With half their roster on the injury report and no healthy point guards, the Indiana Pacers turn to former G League MVP and dunk champion Mac McClung for help.

Not one week into the new NBA season, and half the Indiana Pacers’ roster has already appeared on the injury report.
They’re without their top four options at point guard — and worse, all but one of the injuries are to guards.
So when the Pacers took the floor against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday — a 114-110 loss — in the second game in as many days, they had only 11 available players. Four of them were centers, so they started two.
Monday served as a rest day in Dallas, where the team will wrap up its three-game road trip Wednesday night.
Needing backcourt help, the Pacers held a workout with three players on Monday. Mac McClung earned the nod and signed a rest-of-season contract with the team Tuesday. He joined the team for practice in Dallas and will wear No. 3.
