Pacers start 2024 pre-draft workout season; own three second-round picks

The Pacers season is over, but the front office quickly shifted its focus to draft season. Notes on the schedule, change in prospects they're able to bring in and more.

Hello from downtown Indy, where the annual Indianapolis 500 hangover has passed and everyone is now in summer mode. It was weird not to have any Pacers players involved in the 500 Festival Parade or the Indy 500 festivities — but it was for a good reason: they were still playing.

As for me, I’ve spent the last few days doing more than a dozen radio interviews talking about Caitlin Clark, treatment from opponents, and the Indiana Fever surviving a brutal stretch of 11 games in 20 days. They now have four days between games and had Monday and Tuesday off — which was well-deserved.

As for the Pacers, players are now in offseason mode. I saw where Bennedict Mathurin posted a photo on Instagram with Big Ben — in London. Subtle and funny.
