Pacers select T.J. McConnell as 2026 draft lottery representative
The veteran guard — now the longest-tenured Pacer — will represent Indiana on stage as the franchise chases its first No. 1 pick. The lottery will air at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 10.
The Pacers are hoping their point guard can bring home the assist.
The franchise has asked veteran T.J. McConnell to serve as its on-stage representative at the 2026 NBA Draft Lottery.
It will be held at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday — and air on ABC, serving as the lead-in for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals between the Knicks and 76ers.
McConnell, 34, was a free agent when he signed with the Pacers in 2019 — and has since signed multiple new contracts. After Myles Turner elected to sign with Milwaukee last offseason, McConnell became the longest-tenured Pacer.
The hardest part for the on-stage representative is sitting there knowing the results have already been finalized in the drawing room — and now everyone is just waiting for them to be revealed publicly.
