That player — Ivica Zubac (pronounced EE-vee-tsah ZOO-bahts) — is now headed to Indiana.
Since before the start of this season, the Pacers’ biggest need was at center — and it remained that way.
Until Thursday.
Less than an hour before the 3 p.m. ET NBA trade deadline, the Pacers reached agreement with the Los Angeles Clippers on a four-player deal headlined by the Pacers getting their center.
Incoming: Center Ivica Zubac, guard Kobe Brown
Outgoing: former first-round picks Bennedict Mathurin and Isaiah Jackson, two first-round picks, 2028 second-round pick (via Dallas)
