Rascal Flatts dons custom Pacers jerseys for encore at Indianapolis show
Joe Don Rooney and Jay DeMarcus wore custom Indiana Pacers jerseys as the band closed out a sold-out show at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
For more than 25 years, Rascal Flatts has entertained country music fans, and that continued Saturday in Indianapolis as the group performed in front of a sellout crowd at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
The concert opened with Chris Lane and Lauren Alaina.
Rascal Flatts — led by Gary LeVox, Joe Don Rooney, and Jay DeMarcus — played through its hits on Saturday night to help kick off concert season in Indianapolis. To conclude the show, the group returned to the stage for an encore.
Rooney and DeMarcus both wore custom Indiana Pacers jerseys for the encore, drawing a strong reaction from the hometown crowd. The jerseys were No. 1 — and each had their last name on the back.
