Tyrese Haliburton enjoys Colts opener and dances on jumbotron, then attends Fever win | VIDEO
From Colts to Fever, Indiana Pacers All-Star Tyrese Haliburton is all-in with Indy. "He is like the perfect representative for Indianapolis right now," Pat McAfee said.
Tyrese Haliburton took part in the Indy double on Sunday.
The Indiana Pacers’ All-NBA point guard first attended the Colts-Texans game at Lucas Oil Stadium in downtown Indianapolis, then made his way four blocks over to sit courtside at the Fever’s win over the Atlanta Dream.
Haliburton joined Pat McAfee in his field-level suite for the football game and those guys got rowdy. Of course the in-stadium video feed is going to highlight their former All-Pro punter, but Haliburton also wanted in on the fun. For the past two years, the Colts have played a special song to celebrate a touchdown score, which is a hit with McAfee & the boys.
While they were celebrating, Haliburton climbed atop the wall separating the suite from the field, then he started celebrating and dancing while the entire stadium watched and joined in…
McAfee then talked about that moment.
“I’m very happy that Haliburton didn’t get arrested jumping on that (wall) yesterday,” he said on his show Monday. “Cops did came over and said ‘We’re gonna act like we didn’t see that.’
“The place did go crazy. Absolutely bananas.
“He's like a kid, 24 years old. He said, ‘That was so cool to be up there on the jumbotron.’”
