WATCH: 1976 Indiana Hoosiers reflect on perfect season ahead of title game 50 years later
Members of the last undefeated champion in NCAA Div. I men's basketball revisit their historic run before being recognized on college basketball’s biggest stage.

Members of the 1976 Indiana Hoosiers men's basketball team — the last unbeaten champions in Division I men’s basketball — met with media ahead of their on-court recognition during the 2026 national championship game at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Led by Bob Knight, the Hoosiers completed a perfect 32-0 season, a feat that has not been matched in nearly five decades. Players reflected on that historic run, the standard it set, and what it means to be honored on college basketball’s biggest stage.
Although not on stage, Pat Knight was there to represent coach and his family.
The team will be recognized at halftime of the NCAA championship game, celebrating a legacy that continues to define the sport.
