With many Pacers out, Stephenson was brought back on a 10-day contract — and then finished out the season. "I love this game and I just felt like my time wasn’t up."
I appreciate it, AC. He wants to be back and can contribute in several ways. But it's all a numbers game. And can fans understand if he doesn't play consistent minutes or even in every game. That's what has to be understood.
No problem & a good point that Pacers fans need to realize that if re-signed, it won’t be for Lance to be consistently in the rotation. Appreciate you.
Great story. I ran into Lance at the Shell on 86th and Lafayette during or right before the bubble games. I figured he lived around the area. Told him he was too good not to be on an NBA team.
So Kevin Pritchard says a young team like Pacers needs some solid vets around? Very well then, this dude would probably be more than happy to return. And the people would love it. There has to be some good reasons for people outside of Indy to pay for the League Pass subscription.
very good story. much better than the indystar guy's argument not to bring him back.
let's hope KP doesn't mess this up and brings him back.
Don't expect a quick decision. If they brought him back, I believe it will be one of the last transactions.
ya, im not expecting anything quick or smart...we're talking about a braintrust that drafted Gabe York over Lance in the G-League draft...
Would like to see Lance brought back, this was another good read, thanks

depends on how the guys ahead of him are playing ... if they are playing hard and well, i'm sure fans will understand

That was after he was supposed to re-sign with the organization. A great what-if. ... and he's a man of the people for sure.
I appreciate the great Pacers content, Scott. You're the best. Seriously.
As for Lance, can we skip the charades and roll out the lifetime contract?
