Pacers celebrate return to playoffs with Caitlin Clark Revving It Up before Game 3
Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark attended Game 3 with her teammates and served as the honorary starter to Rev It Up before tipoff.
Two days before her first training camp with the Indiana Fever, Caitlin Clark made her first public appearance in Indianapolis since being selected with the top overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft.
The four-year guard out of Iowa was asked to Rev It Up before the Pacers tipped off against the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 3 of their best-of-seven series. And of course she said yes.
It was a no-brainer for both sides.
The Rev It Up tradition started for the 2022-23 season so this was the franchise’s first opportunity to do so in the postseason. Clark sat in a custom yellow IndyCar and helped fire up the crowd before the first home playoff game since April 2019.
It was also the first home playoff game since Gainbridge became the naming rights sponsor and the organization spent $400 million in renovations.
It was a sellout crowd (17,274) and there were millions more watching nationally on ESPN. The Pacers held on and outlasted the Bucks for an overtime win, as well as a 2-1 series lead.
After her responsibilities on the court, Clark joined her teammates in a suite at the north end of Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The Fever players came down to the floor and threw t-shirts into the stands during a second-quarter timeout.
Fever training camp, with head coach Christie Sides entering Year 2, begins on Sunday at The Fieldhouse.
