indeed. But with the success of the NFL Draft and moving that from city to city, I'm kind of surprised the NBA hasn't followed. It's easier to have it in the same location annually, but it becomes a production and draws interest elsewhere. It also rewards other cities. Imagine if it was in New Orleans or Charlotte or Milwaukee, for example.
The NBA draft is much more of a TV production with the interviews. I used to watch the Colts draft as a guest in the press room, but I don't miss it as now all the pressers are on the internet within minutes. I remember talking to Craig (forget his last name) and saying the NBA was more entertaining with it's faster pace and he responded that the NFL draft was all about football. Things have sure changed
Oh, I completely agree. It's a TV production. And still, thousands poured into Nashville and Vegas and filled the streets to be there, to see it and support their teams. And yes, Craig Kelley. Good guy.
