The 12-minute episode looked back at Haliburton, one of four kids, going from off the radar as a high school prospect in Wisconsin to Iowa State University, then being passed over until the Sacramento Kings drafted him 12th overall in 2020.
Then less than two years later, they dealt him to Indiana in a trade that shocked those inside and outside of the league.
Now he’s a two-time NBA All-Star and has his sights set on both helping the Pacers reach the postseason for the first time since before he was drafted AND being voted an All-NBA player for the first time.
“Last was like The Revenge Tour,” Haliburton said. “Now I think I play a little bit like I’m pissed off. I’m big on that. I’m big on having as many motivations as you can, because I think all the greats do.”
Within the feature, they interviewed his parents (John and Brenda), girlfriend (Jade) and Chris Denari, the TV voice of the Pacers.
