Pacers with two important workouts on Wednesday: Taylor Hendricks and Jarace Walker
Hendricks and Walker are both one-and-done forwards expected to be top-10 picks. And both would fit in well with the Pacers.
Wednesday will be a very interesting and important day for the Pacers front office before the NBA Draft on June 22. Two lottery-bound players will be visiting and working out separately in solo workouts.
First up will be Taylor Hendricks of Central Florida and then Jarace Walker of Houston. Both are 19-year-old freshman forwards who may be in play for the Pacers at No. 7.
It will be the team’s third solo workout so far; Villanova’s Cam Whitmore was the first back on June 1.
And yes, that’s Pacers All-Star Tyrese Haliburton sitting with Larry Bird, who is back on as a consultant, along with Rick Carlisle and the team’s scouts at the workout on Tuesday. Haliburton is very much involved.
